  
The so-called "finished product" is a result of many experiences, many experiments and years of study, work.Below are some of the studies that contributed to the imagery that you see in the paintings displayed. At times the image in a notebook parallels what goes on a canvas, but more often only a line or two or a shape will be utilized.
Painting is, or should be a cumulative experience; each canvas has within it every other painting or drawing that came before it.The blank canvas is not however a chance to "continue"; each canvas should be a beginning.
